Elijah's Birthday Party !

Whew! I'm totally exhausted! I've been cooking since Thursday morning - basically catered and cooked this entire party! I'm done! As fun as it all was, I'm glad it's over. Here are some pictures of today's party.

What a Dork!

I took my dogs on a walk this evening - nothing new. Before I walked out the door, I took my husbands sweatshirt and put it on. It was kinda chilly.

Got pretty far on the walk when I started to heat up, so I found a nice patch of grass and stopped the dogs.

I took  off my little purse that I use for walks that carries poopie bags and tonight, I had my house keys and my iPhone in it.

Took the sweatshirt off and tied it around my waist and like an idiot - began walking home! Didn't even look back and I didn't have my purse on either.

I got ALL THE WAY home before I realized that I didn't have that purse on and then panic set in.

What are the worst case scenarios that could happen? Well, someone could steal my phone, retrieve my address, take the keys that were so easily visible and come kill me and my family!! Right?  Or - steal my car!

Fortunately, my mother-in-law lives right up the street from us, so I ran to her house WITH MY 3 DOGS!

We jumped in the car - dogs in back - and tried to get to the place that I left my purse (on the grass, right out in the open - and I should say: It was bright yellow to boot!).

I dashed out of the car and didn't see it!  OMG - my worst case scenario has come true....

Then, I looked some more and some kind soul had put it on the step, near the entrance of the establishment that was there.

Quickly, looked inside and BOTH my phone and my keys were still there - WHEW!!!!

I was thanking Jesus ALL THE WAY BACK HOME!

It was: My Day In Photos.  Starting at the top left - Coffee!!  Then, dishes. Keys for the car and errands.
Play time with Elijah and the 3 "terrors". Cleaning the chicken coop. Naptime. Mac/work time and last but certainly not least WINE TIME! <3

Today's Challenge ~

Inspirational Board - looking through Flickr and saving the pictures that "inspired" you, I found myself just picking anything that looked good. We were not allowed to use any of our own photos (but, isn't that what inspires us most?)  I managed to find these photos, but I can't say that I'm in love.

It was to Imitate a Photo. My wedding rings are on the left and the photo I was imitating is on the right.

I didn't quite get the positioning right - my rings are stacked differently, but you get the general idea.
