Elijah Jaylan's 2nd. Birthday ~

How many of you have been to Chuck E. Cheese's? Yeah, I know...alot of you. The last time I was there, those overly large puppets came from behind a curtain and sang to the kids. 

Now, they are fully exposed and sing all the time - or maybe it just seems that way.

Then there's Chuck himself.  He was walking around and came up BEHIND  Elijah, surprised him and it sent Elijah into a hysterical frenzy! 

Thank's Chuck! 

From then on, he avoided Elijah and we avoided him. Sorry Chuck.

It was totally chaotic & loud. Kids running from the front of the place to the back. Some crying, some laughing, some pushing other kids. Kids racing to redeem their tickets for the most inane toys EVER.

At one point, I took Elijah's presents out to the car so as to make an early escape. As soon as I got outside, it was so quiet I thought I'd entered a tomb. The decibel level of that place is alarming!

After 3 hours, Grandma was DONE. Trust me, it was long enough.

Overall - I have to say Elijah had some kinda fun. He was totally perplexed when he entered the place. He'd never been there before, but he observed kids all over the place and soon fit right in.

The best part was watching him enjoy his 2nd. birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's ~
